SALES POLICY

HELLO AND WELCOME!

Thank you for your interest in the Plum Creek KuneKune!

We follow a very structured process to ensure a smooth transition for the piglet and their new owners

Feel free to get in touch if you're interested in acquiring KuneKunes. I'll gather your contact details and preferences, keeping you informed about upcoming litters and providing updates on breeding details. When you contact me, I'll request a "piggy plan" to understand your goals in raising pigs. Share insights on your intended use (breeding, pork, pets, etc), your existing setup, and plans for housing, pasture, and fencing. ˜

Once the litters arrive and you've selected your piglet(s), I'll provide regular updates on their growth, including photos every few weeks. The piglets will be weaned at eight weeks and ready for pickup at nine weeks.

PIGLET DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

Females and intact males are $400 (AKKPS Registered), castrated males $300 (unregistered).  A $100 deposit is due upfront once you select your piglet. We will not collect a deposit until the piglets are born. The remaining balance is due when they get picked up.  Your deposit goes to the total cost of the piglet and will hold the piglet of your choice.  All payments made towards a piglet are non-refundable.  We use a first come first serve basis so the person that puts a deposit down first gets first pick of the available piglets. The balance has to be paid off by the time the piglet is 8 weeks old otherwise you will be forfeiting your piglet.

Once piglets are offered to you, your choice to pick or pass needs to be made within 24 hours. We have a waiting list and it's not fair to keep the others on the list waiting. If you don't respond I will have to move down the list. We can also accept VENMO and Zelle payments.

WHY BUY REGISTERED KUNEKUNES?

A fully registered KuneKune comes with the guarantee, through Parentage DNA verification, that the pig is a purebred KuneKune.    Registration guarantees NO inbreeding! The AKKPS does the DNA Parentage Verification.

A "purebred" KuneKune that is NOT registered is a not a KuneKune, it is simply a pig assumed to be a KuneKune.
